As you can see we were camping with some friends of ours over the 4th of July. It was Garrett's birthday on the 3rd. He is 17 years old! Where has the time gone! He got some fun things including 60.00 dollars worth of Itunes from his girlfriends mom. Well X girlfriends mom. The next day she broke it off with him. It was the worst birthday and one that Garrett will never forget, but he now he can look back and realize that it was all for the best. She was a nice girl, but it was not the right timing. He still has a lot to accomplish before he gets serious. He also has told me that now he can be himself. He doesn't have to impress anyone. He has grown up a lot!Happy birthday Garrett!
