Spring?

Spring played a nasty trick on us this morning. We woke up to this on the first day of spring! We are having a big Easter Egg dinner and celebration on Sunday at our house so hopefully the kids won't have to stay inside.

I'm not very good at this blog thing, but enjoy the pictures! Karenna is the cutest girl! We just love her!



This is Matt. He is one of Garrett's friends, and is in the same ward as Karenna, so they are all great friends!


Katie is Karenna's mom. Her and her family are awesome people! When Ron lost his job the family all fasted with us. They have just all become such good friends. We have been blessed to hook up with them. Thanks to Garrett for hooking up with Karenna!

All these pictures are of Garrett and the group. It was kind of funny, but during the play Garrett (Horton) was sitting on an egg for a bird. Karenna Garrett's girlfriend was a bird that was trying to get Horton to notice her, but he was too focused on trying to locate his speck of dust because of the Hoos. Anyway, what makes it funny, at the end, this egg hatches and there is a baby inside. Garrett and Karenna hadn't started dating until the play, and Garrett wasn't originally cast as Horton. They hook up at the end, when Horton finally notices Gertrude (Karenna) and they live happily ever after with this elephant bird! It was a wonderful play! This picture is of Horton and all the birds.

Seussical

We had the opportunity to go to the play Seussical. Garrett tried out, and at first was the Mayor or Hoo Ville. There were some problems with the boy that played Horton, so they recast Horton with Garrett. He did an awesome job! He can sing of which we had no clue of before! He also has landed a girl friend. Her name is Karenna Jones. She is the blue bird leaning over Garrett! She is a wonderful girl, and her mom and I really hope they make it through the next 4 years as he goes on a mission. Personnel Progress Award

Paige is working hard for her personnel progress. We figure she will be done in the next couple of years. She is working hard, and we are finding that it is equivalent to an Eagle Scout Award! Keep going Paige!
